What is this show about?

This show is about the adolescent life of the man we came to know as Superman. It starts off with Clark Kent in his freshman year of high school. His high school sweet heart is Lana Lang and his best friends are Pete Ross and Chloe Sullivan. There are many strange “meteor infected” people in Smallville that Clark Kent has to battle. Throughout the show, he goes through many trials as he draws closer to finally getting his red cape and tights.

What network does the show appear on?

It used to appear on the CW.

Who are the main actors who star on this program?

The main actors were Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaun, Jonathan Schneider, Annette O’Toole, Allison Mack, and Erica Durance.

Do you like the plots or stories of the show? Why or why not?

I loved the plots of the show. I love how each season centered around its own theme. For instance, in season 1, Clark Kent was starting high school and learning more about his family. He was becoming curious about his biological parents. Also, in season 4, Clark was graduating from high school and thinking about his future. I loved the different types of kryptonite and how they had different effects on Clark Kent. Green would hurt him and cause excruciating pain and red would turn Clark into his evil persona, Kal-El.

What do you like most about the show?

What I liked most was the love drama between Clark Kent and Lana Lang. They were obvious star crossed lovers. Clark showed how much he loved her even though he kept his secret from her for years. He watched as she had a few bfs and even married his arch enemy. Eventually, she found his secret and they embraced each other.

What do you dislike most about the show?

One thing I disliked was how they ended the relationship between Clark and Lana. The directors spent 8 years building up the relationship between the two of them. They fell in love in high school and grew on each other throughout their adult years. Lana would leave Clark’s life a couple of times. When they finally brought her back, she was wearing a suit that was filled with kryptonite. She loved the suit because she was able to save the world. However, she could not physically be with Clark because it would kill him.

Do you know any interesting facts about the show, its actors or creators?

Well, when Tom Welling first started on Smallville, he was 24 playing a 14 year old.

What, if anything, would you change about the show?

I would take the kryptonite out of the suit so that Clark and Lana could’ve been together.

Would you recommend this show?

Yes I would.
