Born and raised in El Paso, TX Ginger Pineda Raya is presently a Clinical Administrator at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is adjunct faculty at Dona Ana Community College-New Mexico State University as well as Park University. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso and has worked in higher education for over 5 years.
Ginger was a “Big Sister” with Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Paso for 2 years. She started volunteering with Latinitas October 2009 by assisting at various workshops and assisting at Latinitas functions. She then served as Chair for the Alliance of Latinitas. As a vested part of the El Paso border community, Ginger feels that the girls in the region are greatly underserved and benefit greatly from the exposure to technology and media that Latinitas has to offer.
