Who are we?

Our mission is to empower young Latinas through media and technology. Latinitas was founded as a non-profit in 2002. We publish Latinitas Magazine and host media enrichment programs to help girls learn how to build confidence and discover their voice.

Our Magazine

Latinitas Magazine is the first digital magazine made for and by Latina youth. Our magazine is focused on informing, entertaining and inspiring young Latinas to grow healthy, confident and successful. It features Latina youth voices from our Youth Editorial Advisory Board and reader submissions.

Our Programs

Latinitas enables young Latinas to achieve personal and academic success through media and technology outreach to address the critical state of Latina girls today. Our programs include: After-School Clubs, Special Events, Camps, Teen Reporter Programs, and a Speakers Bureau.
